Shipping Policy

MoreHome.com proudly offers some of the most comprehensive shipping options available. We’ve partnered with only the industry’s top carriers to ensure that you’ll benefit from low shipping rates and the convenience of home delivery.

Levels of Delivery Service
We’re pleased to offer three levels of service:

  • Small Pack Delivery:

Smaller-to-midsize items will be shipped using our UPS small pack service. Options for this service include Standard Ground and 2nd day air. If you’ve ordered two or more items, you may receive your order in multiple boxes. Due to the variability of shipping locations, your order may be received on different days. There are no additional charges for split shipments.

  • Standard Freight Delivery:

Larger, heavier items, items of a fragile nature, or items containing regulated materials will be delivered by a freight carrier. Standard freight service includes delivery of your order curbside only. Standard freight delivery typically spans 5-7 business days.

  • White Glove Basic Delivery:

This specialized delivery service includes delivery of the items inside the first area of your home.*
We highly recommend this option for larger, heavier appliances. Because of the care of handling in transit, White Glove Delivery usually spans 10-14 days. Please contact customer service for details.

* White Glove Delivery Services apply to single-story deliveries only. Deliveries involving more than five stairs will be subject to additional charges. Please contact customer service for more details. Additionally, White Glove Delivery DOES NOT include the setup of the products purchased.

  • White Glove PRO Delivery:

This is MoreHome's Suggested form of Delivery! This service includes delivery of the items to the room of your choice inside your home (up to two [2] flights of stairs), unpacking with debri removal, and limited setup.*
As part of this service, the carton and excess packing materials are removed and disposed of. We highly recommend this option for larger, heavier appliances. Because of the care of handling in transit, White Glove Delivery usually spans 10-14 days. Please contact customer service for details.

* White Glove PRO Delivery Services apply to residences containing no more than two flights of stairs. Deliveries involving more than two flights of stairs will be subject to additional charges. Please contact customer service for more details.

"Limited Setup" is defined as a consecutive 15 minute duration in which the carriers will assemble your products to the best of their ability (Limited to Tool-Free aseembly).

Additional packaging is defined as packaging added to the product to make it safer for transportation, such as pallets, shrink wrap, bindings, corner bumpers, etc. Additional packaging DOES NOT necessarily include the box that the manufacturer has originally packaged the product in.

 

Important Notes Regarding Freight Delivery
Carriers prefer to make one delivery of products with the person who originally placed the order. In the event that you’d like someone else to receive the delivery on your behalf, please contact our customer service, and we'll make that change for you.

During delivery, the carrier will require the merchandise to be signed for, and it’s very important to inspect the delivery carton for any creases, tears, dents, or holes. Should any of these damages exist, please write that information on the face of the delivery receipt. Failure to properly notate damages or shortages will waive our right to file a claim against the carrier on your behalf.

Where Can I Have My Order Shipped?
Up until recently, we were equipped to ship items only within the United States (including Hawaii and Alaska). But thanks to agreements with our vendors across the country, we are now able to ship to Canada.

If you live outside the U.S. or Canada and would like to place an order, you may do so by having your merchandise shipped to a forwarding address within these countries.

Shipping and Order Confirmations
Shortly after placing your order, we’ll send you an email confirming that we’ve received your order. If you’ve ordered items that require freight delivery, you’ll receive a second email providing detailed instructions on how to receive and inspect your shipment. A third and final email will be forwarded once your order has shipped.

You’ll receive more than one shipment confirmation email if your order is fulfilled in multiple shipments. Please save these email invoices for your records.

Shipping Rates
Weight and package size can vary depending on your order. All shipping rates are determined by either the United Parcel Service shipping gateway, as a per-piece calculation, or occasionally we will pay or discount shipping costs based on a promotion. Once you begin the check-out process, your shipping cost will be calculated.

If your order is shipped based on weight, you must input your zip code before you check out. Based on the weight of your order and the location it is being shipped to, you’ll have the option to choose from several different shipping rates. If you believe the rates are incorrect, or you’re unable to complete your checkout process, please contact customer service for assistance.

Shipping Backorders
We proudly boast excellent fill rates, but occasionally an item can be on backorder due to popularity and demand. This means that different parts of your order can come from various locations around the country. If your order includes more than one item, we will make every effort to send available items together. In the event only some of the items in your order are available at a single location, we reserve the right to ship you multiple packages from multiple warehouses.

If we elect to break your order into multiple packages, you will not incur any additional freight charges. In the unlikely event we’re unable to ship your order complete, we reserve the right to ship the available stock and backorder the items we were unable to ship. You will be notified via email of the estimated delivery date for your backordered items. You will not be charged any additional freight charges for backordered items.
