If, for any reason, your shipment is not satisfactory, we will gladly replace it or accept a return of the merchandise. Please see the Defective Furniture section for more information on defective or damaged furniture A 20% restocking fee will be charged on all returned merchandise, unless defective. We are not responsible for any labor costs, which occur as the result of the installation of wrong or defective parts. In addition we are not responsible for lost shipments. You must file a lost shipment freight claim with the respective shipper. Exceptions
Some items Morehome.com sells are not available in our web catalog but can be purchased over the phone. If you purchase a special order item by contacting or calling our toll-free number it may not be returnable or may be subject to a higher restocking fee. When you call, a sales associate will notify you of any applicable return charges. If defective, you may only exchange these items for the same product. Please call our customer service number if you are uncertain about any part of this return policy or if you have unanswered questions. Defective FurnitureAll furniture ships directly from the manufacturer and thus is not eligible for return. The following manufacturers are the exception to this rule and may still have a return setup (normal return policies apply).
If a product is damaged during shipment we will do our utmost to ensure that the problem is handled before it reaches you. If a product is delivered that is still damaged, pleaes call us at (800) 470-1135 so we can set up a freight claim and get a re-shipment scheduled in a timely manner. PLEASE NOTE: All fixtures must be inspected AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. Upon conclusion of delivery, you will be required to sign a delivery receipt (commonly called a Bill of Lading) documenting that all fixtures have been received in good condition. If any items are missing, it must be noted on the delivery receipt. (Basic description of the fixture and product ID.) If any of the fixtures are damaged-in any way- those fixtures must also be noted on the delivery receipt, and delivery of those items must be refused. Please contact customer service immediately to report the damages. In the event that there are missing or damaged items, and that information is not noted on the delivery receipt, Improvement Direct has no re-course with carrier, and will not be required to issue a refund, repair the damaged items, or replace those items. GeneralWe can process returns and refunds only for items purchased from Morehome.com or one of its affiliates. To receive a refund, all returned merchandise must be in resalable condition, free from scratches and defects. You can also cancel items that have not been shipped yet. To cancel an order that has not yet shipped, please call our customer service department immediately. RefundsWe will do our best to process the return quickly. Please allow 14-21 days for processing. Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card account number only. If you paid by check please allow an additional 14-21 days for delivery of check via USPS. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
